About Me: I am an "animal lover"; an individual who devours books (historical, biographical or mystery). Pasha, on the left here, is my dachshund, who was rescued .. and there are cats in my home .. they are also all rescues. I have no room anywhere in my life for anger, hatred or prejudice .. and, have no room in my life for those people who are filled with anger, hatred or prejudice and no room in my life for people who mistreat children or animals. I love to cook .. and, I love to eat. My maternal grandparents and paternal grandparents came to the United States from Poland .. and I especially love to cook .. and eat, Polish food!

A Little More About Me:
- Most of my life, I have been drawing or painting. As a child, I used to sit in the kitchen with my father on rainy days, & we would draw. My father was an excellent artist. In 1970 I started studio classes with Betty Johnson .. oil classes. What a joy her studio classes were .. and what wonderful friends I made. When I could, I took studio classes at the Art Institute in Fort Wayne, IN. Then, when computers became so popular, I began taking digital art classes & if I memory serves me, I played with digital art for about 12-15 years. Then, in 2013, I decided it was time to expand my horizons .. again .. and begin studying watercolor. Basically, I am a self taught artist .. but have taken, and continue to take classes from individuals like Terry Armstrong of Warsaw, Indiana and Jacqueline Gnott of South Bend, Indiana. I was lucky enough to attend a seminar in Berea, Ky .. Michell Tolle had his studio there and before he retired, and he held classes there. I also belong to various internet art groups and take art classes via my computer. To say that I love to draw and paint isn't saying it strongly enough ... and I am lucky enough to have the most wonderful spouse in the world. A spouse who supports this all consuming hobby! Thank you to my wonderful "other half" for putting up with it all.
